Open Letter to the World

Dear you,

How about adding a little give to that take? I understand that I am the type of person that will often stumble backward in my attempt at changing the “go to girl” tattoo that I’ve had for so long on the center of my forehead. Why do you take advantage of that weakness I possess?

I do not want to shut the world off and become a recluse but I feel as 1f8e96ed42c8474af3220c97e60df27fthough PEOPLE are less than able to become less than opportunistic when it comes to my helping hand.

It feels very much like I’m surrounded by vampires and I have a fresh cut on my finger. I am drained.

I take comfort in the fact that the universe always come through for me and my needs. I am always okay. I would, however, like to find that one person/people that don’t want or need anything from me but time. AKA you can call to say hi without asking for a favor.

Seriously considering only keeping my phone on during business and school hours and letting the voicemail catch all the favors in the wind.

Until I am fully able to keep firm boundaries in place. Until such time as I am able to couple this tremendous amount of empathy with boundaries of equal size, I will be in radio silence. I will blog, learn, work, and be mommy.

Let me highlight that so that it may be clearly understood.

Things I will be in 2016: A MOTHER OF 3, BLOGGER, A FULL TIME STUDENT, GAINFULLY EMPLOYED —-THAT IS ALL!!!!

  1. “That is all”..that sounds really busy already. I only do one of those things..lol. I can now deal with people only calling when they need something. I just hate it when people pretend to care more than they really do. The actions make it really obvious.
