Millis Officer Fired for Hoax

I don’t know if you live in a cave or what have you. Recently, it was all over the news that an officer’s cruiser was shot at. There was a huge manhunt for the suspected vehicle and it went so far as them closing schools for the safety of the kids. It was going around and around that officers were being targeted and shot at! The world was going crazy.

I recently expressed interest in a police department and so with this new “target officers” thing, I thought about my decision a little harder.

Turns out this 24 year old part time officer lied about the whole thing. He is being charged for his actions. The question is now… Why??? Why would he lie about something like this? I can see why he kept with the lie. That is because he started something and it went so far that he could no longer take it back.

My guess, my opinion… He was speeding along and probably using his phone. He then crashed into the tree and thought he really needed to cover his ass.

Millis police Sgt. William Dwyer said the only ballistics evidence recovered at the scene of the crash Wednesday afternoon was from shots fired by the 24-year-old officer, Bryan Johnson, into his own cruiser.
